Pure Hydrogen plan to develop a Hydrogen Plant in Central Queensland near the town of Miles, which is about 3.5 hours drive from Brisbane.
The site is chosen for several reasons
- This includes that sits on the Walloon Coal Seam Gas (CSG) fairway and next to major gas pipelines include PPL74 (APA).
- Pure Hydrogen could use gas supply from Real Energy’s projects which have in excess of 9Tcf of 3C contingent and prospective gas resources.
With CSG extraction there is a considerable amount of waste water which will be used in the Hydrogen Plant.
The area is favourable due to the nature of the climate which is suitable for solar and wind power.
There are existing solar and wind power generation in the area which could be used in a mix of power supply to Pure’s Hydrogen plant.
