Pure Hydrogen (ASX: PH2) is strategically developing a hydrogen ecosystem in Australia which covers all aspects of the market from production to end-use, so we can provide our customers with holistic hydrogen solutions. We are focused on becoming a leading supplier/producer of both affordable hydrogen and hydrogen-powered devices including hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

Ideally, you will have an in-depth knowledge of the selling of trucks and buses that would complement the growing hydrogen and electric heavy vehicle markets, within the manufacturing, agricultural and transport industries.

Primary Purpose

Responsible for duties in sales, including business development, field service, high quality work and customer satisfaction within the automotive industry in particular Truck (Prime Mover & Rigid) & Bus. Ensure the company’s vision, mission, and values are executed with the customers we serve and the employees of PH2. Serve as a leader for the organisation, customers, and vendors with the intent to grow the business and help our customers succeed.

Essential Functions

The role would suit a self-motivated individual with:
  • An understanding of medium/large business environments
  • A high degree of computer literacy
  • Administrative and document management knowledge
  • A keen interest in developing solutions for new activities
  • Previous experience engaging with stakeholders in the transport / logistics / waste sectors

  • Appreciate and demonstrate the company’s core values and principles, vision and corporate mission
  • Establish the culture for the hydrogen industry in alignment with the company’s corporate culture, including the pursuit of excellence in workmanship, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Deliver and execute the strategy of products, innovation, sales, service and support
  • Meet / exceed sales targets established by the senior leadership team commission based upon sale of HFC or BEV vehicles
  • Meet / exceed the success metrics of Safety, Earnings, Rework, Value, Inventory, Customer Satisfaction, Efficiency (SERVICE)
  • Develop and execute a business growth strategy for success in your region
  • Provide accurate revenue and profit forecasts, with growth in revenue and profits year over year
  • Fulfill a budget based on forecast, execute the plan, then report results of PH2 business plan at monthly checkpoints with the National Sales Manager, in addition to quarterly Strategic Leadership Team (SLT) meetings. Implement corrective actions, as needed
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential customers across all levels of the customer base
  • Recognise and anticipate future customer needs through relationship building, remaining connected and communicating with customers on a regular basis
  • Analyse PH2 effectiveness and develop strategic staffing plans to meet the future needs of your region, reporting on this annually to the National Sales Manager
  • Analyse overall quality to ensure customer needs are being met
  • Deliver reports and data to National Sales Manager as needed
  • Demonstrate solidarity around SLT decisions, objectives, standards, and the direction of the business
  • Demonstrate proficiency in skill developing, relationship building, and evaluating performance.
