The Role
Pure Hydrogen has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Officer to join our Sydney based team to run the finance functions of the Company. Reporting directly to the Managing Director this role will be a key advisor to the MD and help lead on major strategic and operational financial issues.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include But Are Not Limited To
You will add incredible value through:
- Provide Strategic And Operational Financial Advice Into Business Decisions
- Prepare Quarterly Reports And Financial Reports For The ASX And Investors
- Manage The Budgeting, Forecasting And Overall Year End Process
- Manage Financial Risk, Tax, Insurance And Overall Financial Governance
- Liaise With Auditors, Investors, Banks And Other External Governance Institutions
- Deliver Efficient And Effective Finance Operations To Support The Business
- Develop The Corporate, Business And Financial Strategy To Increase Enterprise Value
- Lead Change And Business Improvement Across The Business To Continuously Build A High Performing Culture
- Manage The Business’s Cash Flow And Working Capital
- Oversee The Delivery Of Payroll Processes And Payments
The Ideal Candidate
- More Than 5 Years’ Experience In A Similar Role.
- Experience With Public Companies Or Ipos
- Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Develop Content For Various Audiences
And Purposes. - Demonstrated Ability To Engage And Work Collaboratively With A Variety Of Internal Subject Matter Experts.
- Strong Taxation, Corporate, Accounting And Legal Knowledge.
- Experience With Statutory Financial Reporting Including Quarterly Cash Flow Statements And Full And Half Year Accounts
- Experience Outsourcing Various Bookkeeping And Accounting Aspects Of The Finance Functions
- Clean Energy/Gas Sector Experience And Exposure To ESG Content Preferred But Not Essential.
- High Degree Of Computer Literacy (Including Proficiency With Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel And Strong Digital Skills
- Professional And Proactive Approach.
- Excellent Communication And Organisational Skills.
- Ability To Work Autonomously And Within A Team To Achieve Deadlines.
